About us
We are relatively new and opened 21 November 2009.
From a carpentry shop to art exhibition
The house was purchased by Ruth Kvålo Dalen in 2003 when it was just a "shell" of an old woodworkers shop.
In 2008 we became two owners of the house, - Ruth K. Dalen together with the Bethany Church in Øyfjell.
A place for artistic development
The vision and mission of the house is to create a place for dissemination of serious artistic unfolding, as well as creating a meeting place in the village. To let the gallery be used for various activities such as concerts, theme nights, cafe, other activities for the young people or to let for various purposes, etc.
Ruth Kvålo Dalen is the general manager of the gallery and has a separate studio in the house, and Betania will be in charge of most of the voluntary activity.
Together we hope to offer a wide variety of activities.
We welcome you to the exhibit and events.
We want everyone to have a pleasant experience to visit us and wish all welcome to see our great exhibits and / or participate in various events you may find interesting!
