It is possible to rent the Årestoga for various celebrations. The Årestoga is suitable for 40 - 50 people to sit and have a meal. If you are a bigger group you can rent our big hall, Vinjesalen.

Årestoga
This is a copy of a medieval longhouse. These buildings had no windows, the light came through an opening in the roof. The smoke from the hearth was also let out this opening. These longhouses traditionally had an earthen floor, and a hearth positioned centrally in the middle of the room.
The Årestoga that can be found at Telemarkstunet is constructed out of timber, and is much bigger than those preserved from medieval time. There is a heated stone floor and electricity.
A small kitchen has also been installed for simple meals and food serving.
We use Årestoga for parties and assemblies. The timber walls and wood carvings create a special atmosphere. Årestoga is very well suited for birthdays and gatherings and can easily room 40- 50 people.
Every month during the winter there are folk music concerts in Årestoga.
In summer there is a café which serves traditional food, coffee, cakes, ice-cream etc. Every Saturday and Sunday at 3pm there are folk music concerts open to all.
