Rauland has 4 good children's areas with both ski bands and lifts, shapes, tunnels, igloo, and much more!
Rauland consists of three ski resorts guaranteeing you challenges no matter how good you are with skis or snowboards on their feet. All the 3 resorts cooperate with common lift pass and free ski bus that brings you back and forth.
Together, these three ski areas offer a variety of winter sports, each with their own character. At the same time, all three offer activities adapted to different age groups and different level of proficiency.
Rauland Skisenter and Holtardalen is the largest ski center in Rauland, and has slopes to suit the entire family.There is a new 4-seater chairlift in Holtardalen and a network of trails that allow you to use all day to explore new slopes. This ski resort is also associated with Rauland Høgfjellshotells lift.
The toughest challenges you get at Raulandsfjell, with steep, black runs, combined with red trails and children slopes. Raulandsfjell has its own off-piste area, so here is the first man to the mill principle when we have powder!
Vierli provides challenges regardless of skill level. You find the kid-friendly slopes in Vierli Winterland, including Norway's largest sled trails! You can also do airboarding, toboggan, snow scooter tours, and of course visit Vierli Terrain park - one of Norways best snowboard / twin tip parks.

Vierli is also a great starting point for cross-country skiing as you get into our network of groomed tracks - 150 kilometres totally! The tracks get groomed every day during the season, and you are welcome to follow the process in our updated GPS-tracklog.
Rauland offers 150 km of groomed cross-country tracks in varied terrain. Approx. 60 kilometer skate route with a classic track, the rest are prepared with two double classic tracks. There are approximately 70 kilometers of mountain trails and 80 kilometer forest trails.
Cross-country tracks are prepared daily throughout the season, and the machines have GPS info for the guests - the GPS-tracklog.
Rauland also has artificial arena with floodlights for cross-country, a six kilometers round trip between Rauland and Vierli Tourist Center, including a lighted ski trail in the center of eight kilometers.
